This Desecration of Our Flag is Deplorable and Disgusting!!

I received this in an email today and I thought I would pass it on.  This is vile.  We must stop this anti-American hate. These people either need to assimilate or go back to their home countries.

From my email:

We are not far from the end folks.
We can't take much more political correctness.

This picture was taken at the AZ state capitol.

This photo was taken at a rally at the state capitol yesterday. The news will not show it and theCapitol Police and Homeland Security would not let Americans or any of the Veterans that were there do anything about it. My husband and his friends were threatened to be arrested and were told they would be booked under federal charges if they did anything. I am sending this to you so that you in turn can start emailing it to everyone on your list. It is totally uncalled for and people need to see it. This is not about politics and rhetoric, it is about a direct threat to our country. Those of you that don't live in Arizona will maybe get a chance to see the other side of what the news is telling you. If this offends you greatly, then I have truly accomplished what I set out to do.
I understand that sometimes we don't see eye to eye on certain things, but that is the right our forefathers fought for. I am an American before I am anything else. For those of you who choose to dismiss this: If you believe that this is okay I believe you are a traitor to this country and everything it stands for. I am not a racist and I am not a Nazi, this has nothing to do with race, it has to do with respect to the country that is continually taking you in and turning a blind eye to your agenda.
Homeland Security was designed to identify and defend America from Terrorist acts yet yesterday it let illegal and legal citizens of this country desecrate the Flag. People were spitting on it, stomping on it and burning it with cigarettes. One soldier who had just returned from Iraq tried to grab the flag and was thrown to the ground by the Capitol Police and Homeland Security.
It amazes me how many people will stand against the American People while all the while prospering from our system and our government.

This is awful folks.  This political correctness must end! We need to stop bowing down to our enemies, who want to overthrow America.  The fact that people were threatened with being arrested when they wanted to stand up and save our flag from being desecrated is appalling and unconscionable.

As wildfires continue to rage in Arizona and Florida, every state in the country now has the potential for a wildfire. According to the National Interagency Fire Center, nearly every state in the U.S. has already experienced a wildfire this year.
Wildfires during the first five months of this year have burned 3.2 million acres, due to soon surpass the 3.4 million acres of land and property that burned during all of last year.  TN Online

19 People Shot including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords & She is in Critical Condition

From USA Today:

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in critical condition after a shooting rampage at a Tucson shopping center that has shaken the nation and left at least six people dead and more than a dozen wounded.

Giffords, an Arizona Democrat, was shot in the head at point blank range by a man who opened fire during a meet-and-greet with constituents. Among the dead are an aide to the congresswoman, a 9-year-old girl and U.S. District Judge John Roll.

Nineteen people were shot in total, Pima County Sheriff Clarence W. Dupnik said. Five died at the scene, he said. Authorities recovered a single weapon, a pistol with what Deputy Sheriff Richard Kastigar described as an "extended magazine." The gunman was apprehended at the scene, but it is not yet known why he opened fire.

The shooter has been identified as Jared Loughner, 22, by law enforcement officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the name publicly.

Dupnik declined to name the suspect, but said he had a criminal background.  "He has kind of a troubled past, I can tell you that. And we're not convinced that he acted alone. There is some reason to believe that he came to this location with an another individual." He described that person as a white man, "possibly in his 50s," and called him as a "person of interest."

This is a very tragic incident.  This is horrific.  Unimaginable. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families.

Governor Brewer speaks out on the tragic incident:

Here is some personal background information on Rep. Gifford from Fox News:

Giffords, 40, was just reelected to her third term in the U.S. House in November. An alumnus of Cornell University and Scripps College, Giffords served as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives and state Senate before winning her seat in Congress.

She is the only member of Congress with a spouse on active duty in the military. Giffords married Navy Captain and astronaut Mark Kelly in 2007.

A member of the House Armed Services, Foreign Affairs, and Science Committees, Giffords has also been a strong proponent of alternative energy and border security issues.   Her district, Arizona 08, is in the southeastern corner of the states and covers just over 9,000 square miles. It shares a 114-mile border with Mexico.

Giffords has been to the right of many of her Democratic colleagues on the issue of border security, aggressively supporting legislation to increase the number of Border Patrol agents and National Guard troops at the border. Giffords hardened her stance on border security after alleged drug cartel members murdered Robert Krentz, a rancher in her district, on his property on March 27, 2010.

Unlike some Democrats, Giffords is also a strong supporter of gun owners' rights. She opposed the District of Columbia's ban on handguns, and filed a friend of the court briefing to the United States Supreme Court in the case of District of Columbia v. Heller in support of overturning the measure.

Another Tragedy Hits Murdered Rancher's Family

In March Robert Krentz was murdered by someone who is suspected to be an illegal immigrant and now his widow, Sue Krentz, has been hit by a car after attending mass.  She was helping an elderly woman cross the road when they were struck by a car. Let us keep both women in our thoughts and prayers.

DOUGLAS, Ariz. (CNS) -- An Arizona woman who has become the face of border-area problems since her husband's murder in March was hospitalized with serious injuries in Tucson Sept. 25 after she and another woman were hit by a car as they crossed the street after Mass at St. Luke Church in Douglas.

Krentz and Gregory were taken by helicopter to a Tucson hospital. Friends told Arizona news media that Krentz had several broken bones, including her pelvis, and had surgery. Information was not available about Gregory's condition.

Sue Krentz, 58, was crossing the street with a friend, 80-year-old Shirley Gregory, when they were struck by a car driven by Ramon Parra Saucedo, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's department. He was charged with driving under the influence, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of endangerment.
