Polygamy vs Gay Marriage; will lawsuit expose a Gay Agenda and the hypocracy of the Christian Chruch?

How or why is Polygamy & Bigamy outlawed in the United States, but Gay Marriage is being made legal in every state? Is the position of the Christian Church?

Kody Brown, husband on 'Sister Wives,' planning polygamy lawsuit

The lawsuit will not be seeking that the U.S. recognize polygamous marriages. Instead, it will be challenging the law against polygamy as unconstitutional, citing the 2003 United States Supreme Court decision in Lawrence v. Texas, which ruled that laws against sodomy are unconstitutional invasions in to the intimate conduct of consenting adults. The Brown lawsuit will argue laws against polygamy are the same.  - Pop2it - Zap2it

The changing face of marriage: who is not allowed to marry:

North American governments have prohibited various groups from marrying and thus benefiting from government programs:
bullet Before the civil war, African-American slaves in some states were not allowed to marry. After the civl war, the definition of marriage was changed to allow all African Americans to marry, as long as they married other African Americans and were of opposite genders.
bullet Before 1967, inter-racial couples were not allowed to marry in some U.S. states. In an ironically named case Loving v. Virginia, the U.S. Supreme Court changed the definition of marriage to include any man joined to any woman, regardless of racial ancestery. They only had to be sufficiently old and not too closely genetically related.
bulletPrior to the year 2000, the relationships of loving, committed gay and lesbian couples were not recognized by any of the U.S. states. They were treated like roommates; they children were considered illegitimate.

Gay Is Not the New Black

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is touted as a progressive favorite for passing a gay marriage bill, while his record on civil liberties and bread and butter issues is more like a Republican. The super-rich men that rule the political game in New York appear to find gay rights non-threatening, but insist that their favored politicians hold the line on Black and Latino concerns. “Gay rights have now usurped the progressive agenda to such an extent that the inaction on rent protections and police state malfeasance will be seen as irrelevant.”  | Black Agenda Report

UN Recognizes Gay Rights As Human Rights

Last week, the United Nations passed a resolution recognizing the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people for the first time.
