One of my favorite movies or movie trilogies is The Lord of the Rings. I found a video which shows parallels between elements of Lord of the Rings (characters and themes) and actual history. This documentary shows parallels between characters in LOTR and historical figures such as: King Henry V, William Wallace, Theodore Roosevelt, Benjamin Franklin, and Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin. This video is lengthy, about 50 minutes long, is very interesting, and is well-worth the viewing. I advise you to please grab a beverage and a snack, sit back, relax while watching this documentary.
