200 prominent Africans write open letter condemning NATO's role in Africa

A group of 200 prominent Africans have signed an open letter condemning the NATO-led air strikes in Libya. They say Africa runs the risk of being re-colonized. South Africa has been quite vocal in its opposition and took active steps to settle a peace deal between the Libyan leader Gaddafi and the NTC. Three days ago, the South African foreign minister had to refute rumors that his country is not facilitating Gaddafi's escape. Earlier we spoke to our CCTV correspondent in Johannesburg, Rene del Carme. She told us more about this open letter and the people behind it.
